The Smile Pad dental group has 6 dental practices in locations in Surrey, Wiltshire, Bristol and London. Founded in 1990, the group has quickly expanded thanks to providing patients with a friendly, personal and professional service. And, while they had got some traction in the search engines their previous SEO and social media company weren’t delivering the results they wanted.
With a newly opened clinic and a lack of local results, it was obvious that changes needed to be made to help get Smile Pad ranking for relevant search phrases. Following our initial keyword research and competitor analysis, changes were made on the website to help target localised search phrases and improve the relevancy of the local dental practices.
While our SEO team were making the on-site changes needed on the website our social media team got to work updating the business’s social media accounts changing these from individual to business accounts. In addition to updating Smile Pad’s Facebook and Twitter accounts we also created a new Instagram business account to help build awareness and engagement of their dental practices.
In addition to the social media and SEO work, our content team made a start on writing highly focused blogs to raise awareness of treatments, services and dental issues of interest to patients. By keeping the company blog up to date with informative, well-researched and useful content our aim was to help establish Smile Pad as an authority in the dental field.
By using a multi-channel approach, we were able to create relevant link-worthy content that could be shared on social media as well as helping to improve the website’s SEO potential and overall rankings.
