How to drive more traffic from content marketing

  • Break up your content. Use bulleted lists, clear headings and paragraphs to break up your content and make it easy to skim.
  • Add images and other visual elements. These can help add interest and further break up the text, making it easier to read and understand.

Repurpose existing content

Have you written a how-to guide that your customers love? Or got a video that’s got thousands of views? If nobody knows about your amazing content then you won’t get any traffic from it. Whenever you create a new piece of content you need to make time to promote it. From blogger outreach targeting influential people in your niche to social media promotion, spending time on pushing your content will not only get you more traffic but also help you in your journey to becoming an authority on your topic.

Set realistic goals

When first starting out with content marketing, it’s important to set realistic goals that can be measured. One of the biggest reasons that campaigns fail is because they have unrealistic goals that are almost impossible to achieve without additional resources. Putting in place a content marketing strategy will help you set goals that are achievable and help you start small and scale your efforts based on what works.
